Mokshay Authenticity Certificate and Silver Warranty

This page sets out exactly what the Mokshay authenticity certificate confirms, what our silver warranty covers, and how returns and damaged deliveries are handled. These are two separate processes, and we have kept them separate here so there is no confusion about which one applies to your situation.

What does the Mokshay authenticity certificate confirm?

It confirms that the applicable product is made from 925 sterling silver.

The certificate is issued by Mokshay and is included with applicable products. 925 sterling silver contains 92.5% silver, with the remaining portion made up of other metals added to give the piece strength and everyday usability.

Is the certificate issued by an independent laboratory?

No. The certificate is issued by Mokshay. It is not an independent laboratory certificate.

It is a Mokshay-issued authenticity certificate confirming the material used. It is not a third-party laboratory assay report.

How long is the Mokshay silver warranty valid?

The warranty is valid for one year from the date of purchase.

What does the warranty cover?

It covers silver polishing and re-polishing service only.

Silver reacts naturally with air and moisture over time. The warranty exists so that an eligible piece can be professionally polished rather than treated at home with methods that may damage stones, enamel, thread or glued components.

What is not covered?

The warranty does not cover:

  • Structural damage
  • Dents
  • Breakage
  • Stone loss
  • Damage caused by accident
  • Damage caused by misuse
  • Damage caused by negligence

The warranty is a polishing service. It is not a repair, replacement or refund guarantee.

Who pays courier charges?

Courier and shipping charges for warranty service are paid by the customer.

This applies to sending the product to us for polishing service.

What documents are required?

Two documents are required: the original warranty certificate and proof of purchase.

Please keep the original warranty certificate and proof of purchase safely. The warranty is non-transferable and is valid for the original purchaser only.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Contact support@mokshay.com before dispatching the product to us.

Please do not send a product without contacting us first. Getting in touch beforehand lets us confirm that the item is eligible, tell you where to send it, and avoid unnecessary courier cost on your side.

If you have not yet registered your product, you can do so from our warranty registration page.

Are Rakhi products returnable?

No. Rakhi products are non-returnable.

This is a change-of-mind position: a Rakhi cannot be returned simply because you have decided you no longer want it. It is separate from what happens if something is wrong with the order, which is covered in the next section.

What happens if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?

If a product arrives damaged, defective or incorrectly supplied, we review the case separately and may issue a refund.

Contact support@mokshay.com with your order number and photographs of what you received. Each case is reviewed individually. Contacting us starts that review; it does not by itself guarantee that a refund will be approved.

Please note: this is not the same process as a warranty claim. A warranty claim is a polishing service for a product you already own and have used. A damaged or incorrect delivery is a problem with the order itself, and is handled as a separate review.
